NEW YORK (January 29, 2013)--The Fuse network is so intent on creating a serious music news program, that it has hired Rick Kaplan, who produced "Nightline" and Katie Couric's "CBS Evening News."
Kaplan is helping Fuse create "Fuse News," which will focus on such stories as bands scalping tickets to their own shows and the sound quality issues of vinyl.
The show will also have studio guests and musical performances.
Kaplan said the show is "more cutting edge than what any of the networks are doing."
''Fuse News" will debut on Feb. 6.
