(July 6, 2013)--Josh Fox galvanized the U.S. anti-fracking movement with his 2010 documentary "Gasland," and now he's back with a sequel, which this time he says targets an audience of just one.
Fox says he wants President Barack Obama to watch "Gasland Part II," and then to spend time with residents who appear in the film.
Mr. Obama has expressed support for drilling and fracking for natural gas, but Fox calls that a misguided policy that ignores the environmental and public health toll of the drilling boom.
Fox, one of the nation's most visible foes of natural gas drilling, uses his new film to focus on how the gas industry influences politicians and regulators.
Industry officials say Fox spreads lies and misinformation.
"Gasland Part II" debuts Monday on HBO.
