LOS ANGELES (January 1, 2013)--"The show must go on,” Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong says.
Armstrong is out of rehab and the band is ready to hit the road again, announcing new tour dates after scrubbing the rest of its 2012 club concert schedule and delaying the start of an arena tour this year.
Armstrong entered rehab after he had an on-stage meltdown at a music festival in Las Vegas.
In announcing his return, Armstrong thanked fans for "the love and support" they've given.
He said he's "getting better every day" and is ready to get back on the road.
The tour begins March 28 in Chicago and those holding tickets for postponed shows will be able to get in on the new dates while those who have tickets for canceled shows will get refunds.
