NASHVILLE (May 5, 2014) Hunter Hayes is psyching himself up for a world record attempt Friday when he’ll attempt to perform concerts in 10 cities in 24 hours.
The record is currently held by Flaming Lips with eight.
Hayes says technically he’ll be on the move for 28 hours because he has to do a sound-check for the first concert.
His main concern is about his voice holding out.
Hayes says that's the only instrument for which he doesn't have a spare.
Hayes is using the world record attempt as a fundraiser for the nonprofit group Child Hunger Ends Here.
"Good Morning America" will carry one of his concerts on Friday's show.
