“Idol” Judges Push For Better Performances

LOS ANGELES (March 6, 2014) The advice of the night from the "American Idol" judges to the contestants was, "Good, but you can do better."

The judges told Majesty Rose they wish she had stayed understated with her version of Coldplay's "Fix You."

Harry Connick, Jr., told Caleb Johnson his version of Rush's "Working Man" was consistent, but said he needs to take it further.

Keith Urban suggested to MK Nobillette she sling the guitar behind her if she's not going to play it and told Jessica Meuse if she sings with enough emotion no one will care if she's off pitch.

Emily Piriz made the bold move of doing a Jennifer Lopez song in front of Jennifer Lopez, who loved it.

Connick, however, thought the production was too big for Piriz.
