Kings Of Leon, Flaming Lips Set To Play Tornado Benefit

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 19, 2013)—The Kings of Leon, Flaming Lips, Jackson Browne, Built To Spill and special guests to be announced will perform at a benefit for Oklahoma tornado victims.

Proceeds from the concert on July 23 in Oklahoma City will be donated to local charities.

Wayne Coyne of Flaming Lips says they're trying to be there not just for the immediate needs, but to help with the rebuilding.

Twenty-four people were killed by tornadoes near Moore, Okla., last month.

Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Ronnie Dunn and Willie Nelson will hold a benefit concert on Friday and Blake Shelton hosted a benefit concert last month.
