(February 22, 2013)--Lady Gaga came out of surgery feeling grateful.

She posted on her blog Wednesday she had hip surgery and it "happened so fast."

She had to cancel her tour because of hip pain.

Lady Gaga thanked her fans for their stories of support and said as she was being wheeled into surgery she thought about her fans' pain and perseverance.

She told fans the surgery is "just a bump in the road" and if they can make it through their pain, so can she.
