NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 3, 2012)--The members of Lady Antebellum played for more than 1 million people during their 85-city "Own the Night" tour, the North American leg of which just wrapped up.

Hillary Scott described the tour as "one giant sing-along each night."

She said connecting with fans was one of their biggest goals when they started brainstorming on a paper plate last summer in Lake Tahoe.

The trio heads next to London to open for Bruce Springsteen.

Then they'll headline shows in Ireland, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden, with a trip to Australia in September.
