Last Of The Three Andrews Sisters Dies

LOS ANGELES (January 31, 2013)--Patty Andrews, the last surviving member of The Andrews Sisters, has died.

The group was famous for such songs as "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," ''I'll Be with You in Apple Blossom Time" and "I Can Dream, Can't I?"

Andrews died Wednesday of natural causes at her home in Los Angeles at the age of 94.

She was the sister in the middle who sang lead.

The Andrews Sisters had several hits in the late 1930s and 1940s and recorded with several popular bands of the era including Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller.

Laverne Andrews died in 1967, and Maxene Andrews in 1995.
