AUSTIN (March 15, 2013)—Rapper Machine Gun Kelly won the Woodie of the year at the 2013 mtvU Woodie Awards Thursday night in Austin and he says he’s thrilled.
Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were among the other winners at the awards at the South by Southwest Music Festival, which are given out to honor new artists.
The ceremony will air at 7 pm. Sunday on MTV and mtvU.
