(July 4, 2013)-- Motorhead has canceled the band’s remaining six appearances in Europe because of the health of front-man Lemmy.
The Motorhead website reported that Lemmy "had some medical maintenance for the long-term good" in the spring and was advised to rest.
But once he felt better, he resumed his regular lifestyle.
Lemmy, 67, has since been advised he must take more time to rest.
He apologized to fans, saying, "Sometimes you can't do anything else than following doctor's orders, but be sure we will be back."
