BRIARCLIFF (June 20, 2012)--Willie Nelson is getting ready to re-open his Texas Hill Country golf course to the public and to kick things off, Nelson is celebrating opening day by hosting the first Celebrity Golf Tournament.

The event benefits four Texas charities and will feature special events and an all-day concert.

The Pedernales Cut N Putt Golf Club is described as "a relaxing and refreshing divergence from the formal country club scene."

It opens on June 30.

Artists performing at the benefit concert include Waco’s Billy Joe Shaver and Jamey Johnson.
