NEW ORLEANS (October 1, 2012)--The stars of “R&B Divas,” a new reality show featuring R&B singers promise the program will be different.
The show follows Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt as they team up to perform an Evans album that features all the singers and pays homage to people who inspired them, such as Whitney Houston.
Evans, the widow of Notorious B.I.G., she says everyone knows "life has drama," but says the show wants to make clear that drama "doesn't always have to be resolved in violence of fighting."
The show airs on TVOne on Monday nights.
