LAS VEGAS (November 6, 2012)--The Las Vegas resort that's promoting Guns N' Roses' four-week run of shows there plans to change the artwork on the ads for the series.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino used ads based on the original "Appetite For Destruction" cover, which depicts a disheveled woman who appeared to have been sexually assaulted, sitting beneath the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

Rape crisis groups complained, the Hard Rock issued a statement of apology, and said it modified the ads on Friday.
