EL PASO (February 5, 2013)—Crews are filming scenes for a movie that stars actor Brad Pitt in El Paso, but Pitt's nowhere to be seen.

El Paso Film Commissioner Susie Gaines said crews are collecting "pick-up" shots to be included in the move "The Counselor," which is supposed to open in the fall.

The scenes will be filler for use between scenes or while someone is talking off camera.

The action Monday focused on an alley featuring three vehicles being driven.

Several extras also walked in front of the alley while cameras rolled.

Gaines said the rest of the movie was shot in Spain.
