Taylor Swift Visits Young Cancer Patient

OMAHA, Neb. (March 10, 2013)—Singer Taylor Swift was at Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., Saturday to visit 10-year-old Lauren Hacker, a fifth-grader at St. Margaret Mary School who has cancer.

Social media users lobbied for the meeting, which was arranged by Lauren's family and the singer's representatives.

Swift kicks off her worldwide tour Wednesday in Omaha for her latest album, "Red."
