Taylor Swift’s New Album Due For Release In October

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 14, 2012)--Taylor Swift has announced during a live web chat that her new album titled "Red" will be released on Oct. 22.

She said "Red" represents all the different emotions she writes about on the record.

The songs, she said, are "all pretty much about the kind of tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships" that she's experienced in the last two years.

There are 16 tracks on "Red," and the first single is titled "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
