OMAHA, Neb. (December 10, 2012)--Trans-Siberian Orchestra is providing unofficial soundtracks to hundreds of Christmas lights displays.
TSO's Paul O'Neill said it all started with Carson Williams of Mason, Ohio, who synched his holiday lights to TSO's "Wizards in Winter" in 2004.
Video of the display went viral, and O'Neill called Williams to offer $5,000 in thanks.
Williams told O'Neill he was expecting the call, but his wife had said it would most likely be about a cease-and-desist order and that they would lose the house.
They didn’t, and O'Neill says since then, even major cities use TSO music in their holiday displays.
