NEW YORK (May 9, 2012)--Lynyrd Skynrd is releasing a new album on Aug. 21 called "Last Of A Dying Breed," and it's the first studio album from the band in three years.
Guitarist Gary Rossington said in a statement that the band "kind of went back old school this time."
He said the music flowed in the studio, and "that's when you know you are on to something good."
Lynyrd Skynyrd will be on tour throughout the summer in North America and Europe.
