(March 27, 2008)--Dallas can't shut down a strip club just because a 12-year-old runaway danced nude at the site.

The city ordinance that regulates sexually oriented businesses does not allow authorities to revoke the license of such a business for employing someone under 18.

Investigators say over a two-week period last year the sixth-grader danced at Diamonds Cabaret.

Authorities also found a 17-year-old girl working in the club in January.

Operators of the Diamonds Cabaret did not immediately comment.

Twenty-seven-year-old Demonica Abron, who worked as a stripper, and 22-year-old David Bell are charged with felony sexual performance of the child.

Both are also accused of engaging in organized crime.

Bell is accused of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and aggravated kidnapping.

He's held on $450,000 bond.

Abron faces a prostitution charge.

Revelations about the club surfaced this week after undercover officers discovered two teenage girls working as prostitutes at another Dallas nightclub.

Police are trying to determine whether a 13-year-old girl accused of luring her teenage friend into prostitution induced other girls as well.

Undercover officers investigating reports of alcohol being served at the club after hours discovered the teenagers early Saturday.

Police say one teen approached an officer and made a deal to perform a sex act for money.

Both girls were taken into custody.

Neither is being named because they are juveniles, but one of the teens is accused of compelling prostitution.

That's a felony charge that involves causing "by any means a person younger than 17 years to commit prostitution."

Her friend, also 13, faces a prostitution charge.

Authorities declined to comment on how the girls got into the club.

Now if only they'd announce ahead of time when the 15 year olds will dance, the clubs might make some serious cash. LOL. J/K

I am owner of the Naked Harem in El Paso Texas and the City and state od Texas set us up with under age dancers one was 15 years old and her Mother was bringing her to work she had 3 ID's The manger Richard Hamn said she was of age. She called the police because she said someone did not pay for a table dance, the police came and left the at the club all night. The girl never came back to work. The Police, vice, crime police came 2 days later and said we hired a 15 year old. We found out that our 2 Male mangers were working for the police they were the ones hiring the under age dancers. Phyllis Woodall went to court and the lawyer she hired did a bad job it was like he was working for the prositution side. She got 16 years and is on appeal David Botsford is her lawyer. They set us up because of the city ordiance 0f 2003,the city was being un fair because two other clubs did not have to obey the ordiance because they had won 2 million dollar law suite. against the city.

Ok...how obvious is it that when someone can't "remember" their own birthday...maybe they're not of age!!!! The management of this club is a joke!!!
