Convicted Central Texas Pedophile Sentenced To 160 Years
A jury has sentenced a convicted Central Texas pedophile to 160 years in prison.

(April 25, 2008)--A Central Texas man convicted of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy was sentenced to 160 years in prison after rejecting a plea deal with a 20-year term.

Keith Allen Porter was convicted Thursday on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child by exposure.

Waco district court jurors deliberated for just more than an hour before returning the verdict.

Porter will serve two 75-year terms on the assault charges and 10 years on the indecency count.

The terms are to be served consecutively.

Before the trial in state district court, prosecutors offered 20 years in prison in a plea bargain.

They increased it to 25 years after the boy testified about years of abuse Tuesday.

Porter's attorney, Stan Schwieger, said he will appeal the conviction and the stacked sentence.

I agree with MRS REED it's about time these poor children that are abuse like this,should be able to get justice and not have to worrie about this animal ever again,Great Job Waco jurors.It's like throwing away the key!!!!

So often the predators who do this stuff to innocent kids get off with no jail time at all. Most just get probation for a first offense. It’s nice to see someone getting a fair punishment for once. Those children will be affected for the rest of their lives because of this person’s sick perversion. Even murders in prison think child molesters are scum!
