Boil Order Issued For Some Water System Customers Save Email Print

(May 8, 2008)—City of Mart water customers who live outside the city limits of Mart were under a boil order Thursday because of problems that resulted from the severe storms that rumbled through the area Wednesday night.

The storms caused an equipment failure at the community’s water plant that resulted in a loss of pressure or service to the affected customers.

The order remains in effect until tests confirm the water is free of contamination.
