Texas Woman Convicted Of Running Sex Club Featuring Children Save Email Print

(May 9, 2008)—Shauntel Mayo, 29, of Tyler, was sentenced to life in prison after a jury convicted her Thursday of forcing three siblings between the ages of seven and 10 to have sex with each other or perform sexual acts for members of an East Texas swingers club who paid to watch.

The jury deliberated for just four minutes before finding Mayo guilty of engaging in organized criminal activity and two counts of sexual performance of a child.

Jurors then decided on the life sentence.

Mayo must serve at least 25 years before she’s eligible for parole.
Mayo's boyfriend, Jamie Pittman, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison earlier this year.

The Tyler Morning-Telegraph reported some jurors cried during testimony in Mayo's trial.

Children testified how Mayo and other defendants began teaching them at age five how to dance and perform sex acts.

The children were given drugs, which the adults called "silly pills," to help them perform.

Four defendants still face trial.

WE NEED TO DO MORE THEN LYNCH THESE MISCREANTS! WE NEED TO DRAW AND QUARTER THEM, SPLIT THESE SUB-HUMANS RIGHT IN HALF! AND DRAG THE REMAINS AROUND DOWNTOWN IN A PARADE LIKE THE GOOD OL DAYS!

Every single person who watched, participated or knew about this and did nothing shoud be locked up. Sick people. None of the swingers spoke up and said this is wrong, I'll stick with grown ups? How sick can these creatures be

Execute everyone involved in this crime and any similar crimes. We need to get rid of these weak and demented genes. The bad needs to be culled out.

Texas taxpayers are sick and tired of footing the bill for housing a bunch of criminals and child abusers. We should contract out our prison system to Singapore or some other country that knows how to make criminals pay like they should. We could send our convicts to the contracted prisons and pay the foreign country five bucks a day to take care of the bad guy. We could convert our existing prisons into colleges, condominiums, housing for the poor, whatever...

I think that the people who paid to watch (if they know who they are) should be punished as well! People get charged for having child porn, then they should be charge in this case too! There is no difference, other than it was live. SICK! Those poor babies! Makes me want to puke!

My parents live right up the road from this took place. They said that they would drive by at night and see a lot of cars in the parking lot. They, along with others in the community, had no idea what was going on there. They need to find everybody who ever attended these "partys" and string them up along with those responsible for them.

They should make sure that vermin doesn't ever get out. Life isn't long enough if she gets out in 25!

No brainer. Slow, painful death to all the sick adults involved in this.

Any one who would willfully harm a child or teach them this type of actions should be given a cruel and unusual punishment. Jail time is too easy. That is why we have over crowded jails too many bleeding hearts that do not believe in the death penality. There would be fewer crimes of this type if the punishment was more severe!!

When I hear these thing it makes me never want my kids out of my sight. You also have to wonder who allow these children into a place like that? I may have missed it but was this person a relative i.e the mother to these young children? I hope not if so I would think it was a good idea she be sertilized. Let's not allow her to have more children to abuse.

That is just sick.

Those poor kids. One of the saddest parts is that since they started them out at such a young age these kids likely didn't know it was wrong! My heart goes out to them as they move on from this and try to start a normal life.

She deseves to be hurt for such a horrible act. I am glad that she was caught and charged. But in the end Lord will have the true punishment.

I agree with ginny. Lethal Injection would be too good for these sickos.. I say hang them in public at the court house. Prison is not working as a deterrent. Start hanging and maybe the perverts of the world will keep their sick actions only in their mind.

What goes around comes around. Hopefully she'll get what's coming to her in jail when they find out what she did. I hope they make her pay ten-fold. She better be glad it wasn't my kid because she'd be lucky to ever make it to jail.

Posted by: tallyho Location: killeen on May 9, 2008 at 08:16 AM
not only put her in jail but the sick being's that paid to watch this if it was;nt for the sick people in the world paying for this degredation I hope they all go to hell.

We are lucky she got that, I am suprised that she didnt get a slap on the wrist. Good Job!

Posted by: Rachel Location: Temple on May 9, 2008 at 03:40 AM
Oh, my God!!! What else can we say except that if this woman does get out in just 25 years, they should put the parole board on trial!!!

Posted by: ginny Location: cove on May 8, 2008 at 08:17 PM
why waste tax payers money to support these sicko's? hang them high for all the rest of the sicko's out there to see and learn from!!i'm really sick of hearing these people doing things to kids and simply getting 3 hots and a cot. do away with the trash!!!!!!!GOD BLESS these children for they will never forget or get over this.
