(May 9, 2008)—Killeen police Friday said they know a little more about a man for whom they’re looking in connection with a shooting at a trailer park that left a 58-year-old man dead.
Earlier this week, police released a picture from a store surveillance camera that captured an image of the man.
Friday police released a second picture and said they have identified the man as Antwon Harris.
He’s between 20- and 24-years old and has a tattoo by his right eye with the outline of Mississippi next to it, police said.
Next to his left eye, police said, he has a tattoo of two teardrops.
On his neck, there’s a tattoo of the name of a woman, police said.
He also has multiple tattoos on his arms and usually wears headbands.
He’s wanted in connection with the murder of Frederick John Dimock, Jr. who was shot to death on May 1 at the A and N Mobile Home Park at 3103 S. Fort Hood St.
The man shown in the surveillance photo released earlier in the week was seen talking with the victim the evening before the murder, police said Wednesday.
He’s described as a dark-skinned African American, between 20 and 30 years of age with an unkempt Afro and a thin goatee.
He’s about 5-foot-11 and weighs around 155 to 170 pounds, police said.
He drives a gold-metallic colored vehicle, police said, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police are asking anyone with information to call either the Killeen Police Department at (254) 501-8830 or Killeen Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-8477.
