(May 10, 2008)--Authorities say the bodies of five people, including three young children, were found Saturday on a rural property in northeast Houston.
Houston police Lt. Dan Harris said a neighbor discovered the bodies Saturday afternoon after spotting the body of an adult male on the porch next to a .22-caliber rifle.
Harris said the bodies of a boy thought to be about 9 and an adult female were found in a shack on the property.
The bodies of a boy thought to be about 5 and a girl thought to be about 4 were found in another shack on the property.
Police declined to speculate on possible causes of death, although they did say there were no obvious signs of a struggle.
