Central Texas Man Returns Home, Finds Woman Dead Save Email Print

A | A | A

(May 15, 2008)—The Coryell County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Rangers were investigating after a man returned home early Thursday morning and found the body of a woman.

The man called 911 around 1 a.m. Thursday from the home at 2651 Snow Rd. off South Highway 116 and said he was a relative of the dead woman, who was identified as Cynthia Lee Tillery, 44.

There was no indication of violence, Coryell County Sheriff Johnny Burks said in a prepared release, but authorities are investigating the death as suspicious.

An autopsy was ordered.

How tragic! However, it is interesting to note that CORYELL county actually DOES investigate a suspicious death, unlike McLennan County Police Depts! McGregor Police Dept. did NOT investigate the suspicious death of my son, Joshua, found in Amsler Park! Hewitt/Waco Police Dept. did NOT investigate Kari Baker's suspicious death! One more question: Why are the Texas Rangers involved? Did Coryell County request them to help? www.tokequest.com/unexplained~Joshua Robinson
