(May 17, 2008)--McKinney school officials say they are appalled by altered photos including heads on different bodies in hundreds of high school yearbooks that were delivered this week.
Besides the head and body switching, some necks were stretched, and a national photography company altered some outfits, The Dallas Morning News reported in its online edition on Friday.
A spokeswoman for Lifetouch National School Studios says the company will spend $75,000 to reprint the yearbooks, and she says they'll be ready before the seniors graduate.
She says an employee made an honest mistake in altering the pictures and there was no malicious intent.
