Gag Order Issued In Swinger’s Club Child Sex Case Save Email Print

A | A | A

(June 24, 2008)—A state district judge issued a gag order Tuesday in advance of the next trial stemming from an East Texas swinger's club accused of forcing children into sex shows.

State District Judge Jack Skeen Jr. in Tyler made the ruling Tuesday after lawyers for Patrick Kelly subpoenaed two local reporters who've covered the so-called "Mineola Swinger's Club."

Attorney Thad Davidson has said he plans to ask a Tyler Morning Telegraph reporter and a KLTV reporter about their alleged personal relationships with the lead prosecutor in the case.

Davidson is fighting to move the trial outside of Smith County.

The paper will seek to quash the subpoena at a hearing Friday.

The change of venue hearing is now set for Monday, the Tyler Morning Telegraph reported.

Patrick Kelly faces life in prison on charges that he helped run the swinger's club, where children as young as 5 allegedly performed sex acts for adult audiences.

It is sick. It's sick that these people are being railroaded. Doesn't anyone remember the McMartin case? The kids testimony sounds very similar i.e. coached. There is 0 physical evidence. There were 100's of swingers involved? HA! Go to a swinger website and ask, 100% of them would be ratting out these people if that actually went on. Did you know that the foster family that pushed for these charges is also going on trial for child molestation? Hmmmmmmm... Where are the journalists?

I can't believe no one has commented on this story yet. These ppl are sick and all involved should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Its scary to see how many ppl are into this kind of twisted perversion. What kind of world are we bringing our children into?
