(June 27, 20080--The average price of gasoline in Texas appeared to be edging lower this week.
AAA Texas reported Friday the statewide average for self-serve regular was $3.92 per gallon, seven-tenths of a penny since last week.
The nationwide gasoline price average went down one penny, to $4.06 per gallon.
The association reports Beaumont and the Dallas-Fort Worth areas had the most expensive gasoline this week in Texas at $3.94 per gallon.
Corpus Christi had the least expensive gasoline, averaging $3.88 per gallon.
Around the state Friday, prices ranged from as little as $3.75 a gallon at a station in Lindale to as much as $4.39 a gallon at a station in Darrouzett, according to Texasgasprices.com
