(July 17, 2008)—Two Texas women were in jail Thursday evening after a fight escalated into a vehicle chase that ended in a crash that injured six.

Jessica DeShae Medford, 22, and Brittonie Annett Taylor, 18, both of Longview, are each charged with six counts of aggravated assault with a weapon and one count of felony failure to stop and render aid.

Bonds were set at $225,000 each.

The charges stem from the 30-mile chase that ended when the two women’s car rammed into a second vehicle, which crashed near Henderson, injuring all six occupants.

The Tyler Morning-Telegraph reported that several of the victims were in critical condition with life threatening injuries.

According to an affidavit, one of the six victims told investigators that Medford, who said was her boyfriend’s former girlfriend, was chasing them.

i was one of the ladies that were in the wreck; i was one of the 6 passangers! there was never a fight! you want the real story? i will tell you! we were in longview one night having fun! we pulled to a gas station and a girl starts hollering at us; telling my older sister that she was driving HER cadillac! THE girl hollering was my sister's boyfriend's ex wife! my sister ignored the woman and just drove off! i looked back and the girl was following behind us! and we did use cell phones! and we even stopped by the kilgore police department; the blinds were closed so they had no idea we were even there!! the woman was hollering telling my sister to get out to the vehicle! i told her not too; cuz we did not know what she was capable of! or did not know if she had a gun or anything!!! then the woman started getting out of her car and my sister took off on high way 259 where the woman chased us at a high speed of 110 mph! rammed her vehicle into our and we slammed into a tree!!!!!

Drama Queen, I have heard before the ratio that you mentioned 5 women to 1 man in Killeen. How is that true with Ft.Hood being the largest Military Installation in the world? Not to mention the Civillian men who are also in Killeen. Another question Why are a lot of men and women in Killeen turning to homosexual relationships? A few years back Ebony magazine did an article stating that Killeen, Texas had the most eligible bachalors. Where are they? I agree that we do have a shortage of decent men, my idea of a decent man ( list not in order) one who believes in being with one woman, goes to church, loves family. A non-drinker, non-smoker, non-club goer, non-curser. Intelligent, Educated, compassionate, God-fearing, honesty, humble, trustworthy and employed. Yes there are a lot of employed men in Killeen due to the military but have you noticed that Uncle Sam has lowered his standards he lets any and everybody in now, what is going on with the men???? Kwtx: a good story for you
