Escaped Texas Jail Inmate Remains At Large Save Email Print

(July 20, 2008)—The search continued Sunday for a man charged with murder who broke out of jail by climbing through an air conditioner vent that was less than a foot wide.

Darryl Layne Norris had been losing weight since being taken to Waller County Jail in April.

He escaped early Saturday morning.

Jail staffers noticed Norris, who was described as about 6-feet tall and 160 pounds, was missing after performing a routine head count.

Norris, 26, and another man are charged with murder in connection with an April 17 convenience store robbery.

Smith did not know if Norris was armed but considered him to be dangerous because of the charge.

There's a small picture up now, there is also one in the video player on the right side of the screen called "Convict On Loose". Although, if you really want to know what he looks like, he looks just like the guy that played Merry in the lord of the rings.....And yea, I'm a nerd. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0597480/ Check it out, though. A Picture would be nice to see...How...are we supose to know if we see him...ask everyone we see what their name is???he could be a neighbor for all I know!
