Texan Burned In Camper Explosion
A 55-year-old man was in the hospital Monday with burns over most of his body after his camper exploded in an RV park.

(July 28, 2008)—A 55-year-old Texas man as in the hospital Monday was burns over most of his body after his camper exploded at an RV park in Turtle Lake, Wis.

Ward Tigner of Alamo was burned in the night's explosion and fire Sunday night in his camper at the St. Croix Casino RV Park.

He was taken to Cumberland Memorial Hospital before he was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with burns over most of his body.

Turtle Lake police say Tigner's wife was also in the trailer, but she wasn't hurt.

Thank God they were not killed. My husband was burned several years ago and I know how painful it can be. He had to go through several years of rehabilitation and it is still painful for him to do certain things or when he touches things in a certain way. May God be with this family. You will be in my prayers.
