(August 26, 2008)--The blood alcohol concentration report is in for two of the three teenagers killed in a fiery car crash earlier this month in Bryan.
The Brazos County Medical Examiner's office reports that the driver of the car, 16-year-old Dillon Benavides had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12 at the time of the crash and that one of the passengers in the car, 15-year-old Alex Dicky had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08.
In Texas, 0.08 is the legal limit.
Test results are not back yet for Dillon's brother, 18-year-old Gus Benavides, who was the other passenger in the car.
Bryan Police said the teenagers died when the car they were in crashed into a tree and erupted into flames in front of the Copperfield neighborhood in East Bryan.
Bryan Police and the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission are looking into the possibility that someone supplied alcohol to the teens earlier that evening at a "Sweet 16" party.
