Communitywide Boil Order Lifted Save Email Print

(August 27, 2008)--The City of Lacy-Lakeview Wednesday lifted the boil order it issued Monday afternoon after a power outage caused a loss of water pressure.

The order was issued as a routine precaution, as required by the state.

Tests have since confirmed the water supply is free of contamination.

Just think how we feel in Mart, constantly having a boil order. And the poor people at the TEXAS YOUTH COMMISSION can't even bring in their own water from home unless they buy bottles of water that are sealed or buy water from their facility. I would be upset because I pay for water at home; why would I want to have to buy some more water? Those bottles aren't good for the Eco-System anyway. TYC, YOU SUCK!! MART, YOU SUCK TOO!! LACY-LAKEVIEW, LOOKS LIKE YOU SUCK TOO!!

Loss of pressure? The water was off at least three times last week in the middle of the night and off till after 7am on Monday before they issued the boil order then didnt bother to tell the community about it anyway. If I hadnt caught it on here I would have never known about it. Thank you Lacy Lakeview.
