(October 2, 2008)—One person was in custody Thursday morning after the truck he was driving crashed into a house.

The collision happened around 2:00 am in the 200 block of Woodland Trail near Lake Belton.

The truck took out part of a bathroom, a study and a bedroom. No one was in any of the rooms at the time of the accident.

The driver of the truck was taken into custody and was in the Bell County Jail Thursday morning pending charges.

Other details were not immediately available Thursday morning.

this happened to my grandmas house on november 8.... yep that was my grandma so i know what it feels like cuz we had memories and ashhes of my grandfather in there so your not the only one ppl.

What a trajedy! Praise God no one was injured. There's no excuse 4 something like this...but before we jump 2 conclusions, what if this man just lost his wife? Or child? AGAIN, Thank God no one was injured. Only line up to throw the first stone if you yourself have NEVER done anything wreckless, stupid or immoral. I'm gonna stand back.

what about the guy driving the house, did he have the right of way? was it a head on collision? or was the house hit from behind? lets dont jump to conclusions here, maybe it was the homeowners fault. (im just trying to look at this from a democractic point of view)
