Water Line Means Water Cutoff, Boil Order
A boil order was in effect Thursday evening for residents of one Central Texas community where some homes will be without water altogether for about four hours early Friday morning while crews repair a damaged line.

(October 2, 2008)—A boil order was in effect Thursday evening for Lorena residents and some homes will be without water altogether for about four hours early morning while crews repair a damaged line at Rosenthal Road and Evelyn.

Residents who experience low or no water pressure should boil water before consumption.

The cutoff will affect the area east of Interstate 35 from Rosenthal Parkway and southeast of Lorena, the Quarry Subdivision, Old Rosenthal Road, Sutton Place, Skyline Circle, Evelyn and South Old Temple Road, Creek Road, Telephone Road and all utility areas south of town.

Residents affected by the cut-off may call the City of Lorena at (254) 857-4641 for the latest information on the situation.
