(October 3, 2008)—Members of Baylor’s Kappa Omega Tau service fraternity pitched in Friday to paint and landscape a downtown-area church.

The students spent the afternoon scraping and painting Columbus Avenue Church of Christ at 307 N. 16th St.

About 40 members were involved in the project.

"You can’t be a leader if your not serving those around you,” said Baylor senior Kyle Phillip.

Minister Dr. Dr. Tom Bedicheck said he was grateful for the students’ help.
