(October 5, 2008)—The City of Lorena has lifted a boil order issued after a water line broke on Friday morning.

Water was off in the area east of the interstate in Lorena from Rosenthal Parkway and southeast of Lorena including the Quarry subdivision, Old Rosenthal Road, Sutton Place, Skyline Circle, Evenlyn and Old South Temple Road, Creek Road, Telephone Road and utility areas south of town as crews started repairs on the damaged water line Friday morning.

The boil order was for all customers in those areas who had experienced low water pressure or who had lost water pressure altogether.

The order was lifted at 5:30 p.m. Saturday after routine tests confirmed the water supply was free of contamination.
