Central Texas Woman Killed In Accident Save Email Print

(October 11, 2008) - Killeen police are investigating an accident that killed a Killeen woman early Saturday morning.

According to the preliminary investigation, a 26-year-old Copperas Cove man was driving a 1995 blue Ford Crown Victoria in the 2800 block of Fort Hood St at about 1:30 a.m.

A woman was attempting to cross the street when she was hit by the Crown Victoria.

Lesia R. Scott, 46 yrs.old of Killeen was pronounced dead at the scene at about 1:50 a.m.

An autopsy has been ordered in Dallas.

Police say the accident remains under investigation, but, there are no criminal charges being filed yet.
