Fiery Wreck Kills Two Texas Teenagers Save Email Print

A | A | A

(October 13, 2008)—A fiery wreck Monday in East Texas killed two teenage brothers who were evidently driving to school.

The Department of Public Safety says Nicholas Cummings, 15, and his brother Aaron, 16, died in the accident about one mile south of Brownsboro.

Both were football players and honor students in Brownsboro.

Trooper Joshua Jenkins says their truck went out of control while northbound on FM 314 and crashed onto an embankment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Brownsboro is a town of about 900, about 80 miles southeast of Dallas.

My thoughts and prayers are with this family. I lost a 17 yr old nephew 2 yrs ago to a single car crash and the pain remains deep. I know the community will gather around and support this family. That's the best about living in a small community. May God Bless and keep the faith. As someone said after we lost my nephew...God likes roses too. Kyle, welcome these 2 young men into Heaven with you.

What a horrible tragedy for this poor family to lose their precious sons. I too am a cousin to the Zavodny childen who lost their lives in an auto accident going to school several years ago, and the memory always remains. My deepest sympathy to this family in Brownsboro.

We all need to remember this family in our prayers. Sounds like these were some really good kids that did not deserve this to happen to them. We will pray for all of you.
