Visitation, Memorial Service Set For BU Coed Killed In Accident
Visitation and a memorial services are set for a Baylor sophomore who died in a one-car accident over the weekend.

(November 18, 2008)—Visitation and memorial services are set for Baylor sophomore Melissa Ellen (Missy) Blackbird who died in a one-car accident Saturday near Tomball.

Blackbird was a first-year student at Baylor who was majoring in bioinformatics.

The Baylor Lariat reported she had gone home over the weekend to ride her horse.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3901 S. Panther Creek Dr. in The Woodlands.

Blackbird is survived by her father William, mother Pamela and brother Shelton.
