Grassfire Burns Outbuilding
Firefighters from several Central Texas departments battled a grassfire that burned an outbuilding Monday afternoon.

(December 8, 2008)—Firefighters from several Bell County departments battled a grassfire that burned an outbuilding Monday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 1:45 p.m. Monday in the area of Primrose Trail and FM 436 near Little River-Academy.

Bell County’s East Side Strike Force including crews from the Little River, Salado, Belton, Holland, Temple and Stillhouse fire departments was deployed to fight the fire, which scorched about six acres.

The cause has not been determined.
