LIMESTONE COUNTY (March 9, 2009)--Maria DeJesus Santos, 39, of Waco was killed early Sunday morning in a car crash in Limestone County.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers told News 10 Santos was westbound on FM 73 about 2.3 miles west of Coolidge when she lost control of her 2000 Pontiac Sunfire.

The car left the roadway on the left hand side, overturned four times and came to rest on the shoulder.

Limestone County Justice of the Peace Frieda Grumminger pronounced Santos dead at the scene at 6:28 a.m. and ordered Santos' body taken to the Southwest Institute of Forensic Sciences, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, for an autopsy.

Investigators reported Santos was wearing a seat belt
