WAXAHACHIE (March 9, 2009)--A 15-year-old boy arrested in the shooting death of his 57-year-old father at the home the two shared in Red Oak will remain in custody.

A judge Monday in Waxahachie ordered the teenager held in juvenile custody for 10 days until another hearing in the murder investigation.

The boy also faces court-ordered drug testing and a psychological evaluation.

A juvenile officer testified that the boy said he and his father argued Sunday over use of the man's four-wheeler.

Ellis County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Alvin Sims told The Associated Press that the body was recovered around 3 a.m. Monday at the pair's home.

The son was arrested a few hours earlier in Waxahachie.

Red Oak is 20 miles south of Dallas.
