COOLIDGE (March 30, 2009)-The Coolidge Police Department says one of its officers was “brutally attacked” while working Sunday night.
Coolidge Police Sergeant Jason Doss, the officer who was attacked, told News 10 late Sunday he was doing fine after the incident, but declined to comment on the nature of the attack, saying the case was still under investigation.
The attacker was taken into custody.
An EMS crew on the scene checked out Doss following the attack.
Other details surrounding the attack were not available late Sunday.
Coolidge is in Limestone County, about 30 miles Northeast of Waco.

well now that you know we have a rent a cop SGT.Doss how did he get the rank? apparently not by experience but no one else wanted the Job!Therfore its rent a cop time. Give the job to the county because Buzzard AKA chief can not get out of his car therefore we have DOSS I wonder if he is going to SUE the Suspect too for not getting his way and being Brutally attacked but yet does not have a mark and yet no update on the Fairytail????

So what your saying is that since you don't agree with sgt. Doss. It gives YOU the right to act up. If ppl like you would take that first step, then thats one step to a better town. And maybe other's would follow. So all i have left say is God Bless all you and good luck!!

For the town of Coolidge to back up an officer he has to be unbiased to everyone. Not letting people with certain last names get off without even stopping them or saying anything to them. I see those people going fast and running stop signs. Those are the people who act as if the law doesnt apply to them. When we see Officer Doss doing his job the right way. Everyone will respect him. But for now he is just a joke with a badge, who is too scared to do some real police work. He needs to stop harrrassing the females in this town and following them home just to see where they live.
