Pickup Hits Utility Pole, Causes Power Outage
A pickup truck hit a utility pole Tuesday evening, causing a power outage on North Valley Mills Drive in Waco.

WACO (April 7, 2009)—A pickup truck whose driver swerved to avoid another vehicle that pulled out in front of him struck a utility pole Tuesday evening on North Valley Mills Drive, causing a power outage.

Traffic lights were out at the intersection of Bosque and Valley Mills and businesses in the immediate area including several restaurants were also without power.

No one was injured.

PROBABLY BEEN BETTER OFF TO HAVE HIT THE VEHICLE THAT PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF HIM/HER!!
