(October 2, 2006)—The FBI says a 48-year-old woman who fell from a cruise ship operated by Carnival committed suicide.
The woman's name wasn't released.
Miami-based Carnival says the woman jumped from one of the ship's upper decks and landed on a cabin balcony Saturday.
She was traveling with her spouse.
At the time, the ship was concluding a seven-day Caribbean cruise that made stops in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.
It returned to Galveston Sunday.
