Her TV Wasn’t On Fire; Fire Was On Her TV
Firefighters rushed to the home of an elderly woman who said her TV set was on fire only to discover that her TV set was tuned in to a fire.

ZURICH (July 3, 2009)--An elderly woman in Zurich, Switzerland called an emergency number to report that her TV was burning.

Police and firefighters rushed to her home but didn't see any smoke.

A closer look at the TV showed it was tuned to a station that shows a fire in a fireplace during the early morning hours.

They turned off the "fire" with the press of a button.
