“American Idol” Tour Starts Sunday Kris Allen is looking forward to the “American Idol” tour, which starts Sunday.

BURBANK, Calif. (July 3, 2009)--Kris Allen is looking forward to the "American Idol" tour that starts Sunday, but he's also a bit concerned about how it'll affect his marriage.

Allen says he'll have to learn how to deal with being on the road while his wife is at home.

He says it's important that they "keep that bond" even though they won't always be together.

As for the show itself, Allen expects it to be more energetic than the performances on the TV show because it'll be easier to loosen up in front of a large crowd.

The tour kicks off in Portland, Oregon.

Tell me Darcey, do you think singers like Jason Mraz (who Kris is similar to) should be shaking in his boots because of Adam? Or maybe even some of Adam's idols should just quit their jobs now ~ because here comes Adam!!! Adam is NOT the next Elvis, you know? There are fans out there for ALL of these guys, and LOTS of fans for Kris too. You don't like Kris? Well, too bad! There are LOTS of us out there that are more than happy that Kris won and are looking forward to seeing him! In fact, I won't be staying for Adam's portion of the tour concert, because I can't stand his SCREECHING! Got it? There are MANY of us who feel that way too ~ believe me! Not everyone likes Adam's style! So you and all the other Adam fans ENJOY!

First thing I want to ask Adam on tour is if he's happy with his hateful fans like you! Why can't you Adam fans just stick to your Adam articles, if you love Adam so much, and leave the Kris articles to those of us who happen to LOVE Kris! Kris and Adam are nothing alike ~ and for that I'm very grateful!

Oh, shut up already, whiny Adam fans. Just because you don't "get" Kris' style of music doesn't make him a bad performer. Heartless, Bright Lights, and Hey Jude are crowd-pleasers, and Kris pours so much emotion into Ain't No Sunshine that entire stadiums will go quiet just to feel the song with him. And for the record, you can be a Kris fan and also be an Adam and/or Allison fan too. Kraddison FTW!
