DALLAS (July 4, 2009)--A man is dead after shots were fired early Saturday into a crowd of vendors setting up for a sidewalk computer street sale in downtown Dallas.

Dallas police Sgt. Warren Mitchell said the shooting happened under the Woodall Rodgers Freeway early Saturday morning when a man driving a dark colored vehicle with stripes on the lower part of the doors fired multiple shots in the direction of the street sale.

He said Herbert Orsburn, 51, was shot in the head.

Mitchell said police had no leads.

El Dorado; There is no one at work(KWTX) from (in this case, Thursday,5:00 P.M.) until Monday morning about 8:00 A.M. So your comment will not be posted, nor is there anyone at the Waco Trib. anymore(newspaper is sent to Austin via computer, printed, then trucked back to Waco). And the shooting was a 'random' drive by shooting. And 3:00 A.M. is morning.

No comments. Everyone must be busy getting wasted on the fourth. Who is changing the story around. Originally it included that this occured around 3AM at night. Crazy time of night to be up. Dallas is a crazy and dangerous big city anyways.
